HEAD CHEF – MATHOURA BOWLING CLUB

Mathoura Bowling Club is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands‑on Head Chef to take charge of our busy bistro and drive a high‑quality, consistent dining experience for our members and guests.
As a key leader within the Club, you will bring creativity, professionalism, and a strong operational focus to our kitchen team—delivering great food, cost control, and a positive team culture.
What You'll Be Doing
* Overseeing daily kitchen operations in a fast‑paced club environment
* Creating and delivering high‑quality, well‑presented meals
* Leading, training, and developing the kitchen team
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen
* Managing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
* Ensuring cost effectiveness through menu planning and waste control
* Working closely with management to maintain and grow the bistro offering
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef ready to step up
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Passion for fresh, consistent, quality food
* Ability to manage ordering and kitchen budgets
* Understanding of food safety standards & compliance
* A positive attitude and the ability to thrive during busy trading periods
