About the Role
We're seeking a proactive Pre-Construction Coordinator to join our team in Lisarow. This pivotal role ensures the smooth transition of projects from pre-construction through to production. You'll provide critical administrative and coordination support, ensuring all planning, documentation, approvals, and client requirements are accurately compiled and delivered on schedule.
Working closely with internal teams and external consultants, you'll play a key role in preparing projects for contract execution and timely commencement of construction.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and maintain job files, providing comprehensive administrative support
Compile and manage pre-construction documentation (drawings, selections, reports, quotes)
Liaise with planners, drafting teams, consultants, and engineers to secure approvals (DA, CC, CDC)
Record client requirements and DA conditions for accurate estimating
Collaborate with consultants and estimators to align contracts, schedules, and reports
Process stock home orders to enable production and site teams to deliver on time
Prepare and manage Factory and Site Trade Scope of Works
Ensure accuracy and quality of information for Ready to Build timelines
What We're Looking For
Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Building, or related field (preferred)
Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in pre-construction coordination or project administration
Strong understanding of planning approvals and pre-construction documentation
Proficiency in Buildertrend, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office Suite (advantageous)
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable Experience
Exposure to residential and commercial construction projects
Familiarity with variation estimating and preconstruction management packs
Knowledge of manufactured homes processes and timelines
