Job Summary

The Patient Administration Department Head oversees daily operations and ensures that accounting procedures are correctly followed, resolving any issues affecting account settlement and revenue generation.

* Lead department staff
* Develop and implement patient administration processes
* Identify and mitigate departmental risks
* Distribute information to stakeholders
* Manage department finances


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Grade 12; Tertiary qualification with financial experience
* Minimum 5 years' debtors experience
* At least 5 years' experience in a Managerial or Supervisory position


Desired Skills and Knowledge:

* Relevant aspects of applicable acts
* Financial knowledge
* Computer literacy
* B2B Lookup Phase II and Debtpack Enquiry application
* Clinical codes management
* Basic anatomy knowledge and terminology
* Medical aid requirements/narrations
* Risk management
* Patient Admin programs on the AS400 system
