We are looking for a motivated and well-organised Payroll Consultant to join our friendly Business Advisory team, who can be based anywhere in AUS
You will work closely with a team of professionals who have gained experience from a range of outsourced payroll providers, Big4 & mid-tier, chartered accounting firms, and large commercial organisations. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing payroll services to our clients.
We service a range of clients across local and international companies from different industries, ensuring that they comply with their regulatory and tax requirements in relation to payroll.
Your key responsibilities
* Work closely with the payroll team to process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
* Manage regulatory compliance obligations such as Payroll Tax, STP reporting, Superannuation and Salary Packaging
* Manage client relationships including attending meetings and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Assist with ad hoc projects including new client implementations
* Continuously develop a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation so our clients remain compliant
What you need to be successful
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, providing support and assistance to other team members
* Ability to work to deadlines and have a genuine customer service first focus
* Experience using Payroll Metrics or Keypay payroll systems is preferable, but not essential
* Computer literacy across a range of Microsoft products, in particular Excel
