WorkPac is seeking an experienced Planner to contribute to Rio Tinto's DSL operations in Dampier and Port Hedland.
About the Role
* Act as the central point of communication on site for multiple stakeholders involved in shipping, quality, marketing, and site planning.
* Coordinate logistics, prepare documentation associated with vessel arrivals, departures, and communications with support providers.
* Maintain critical site reporting functions and develop the site integrated plan on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be the single point of contact for all operational shipping functions including communications with personnel involved with shipping onsite, other DSL sites, marketing and commercial teams, and support providers.
* Liaise directly with the marketing and commercial teams and coordinate the logistics of vessel arrivals, departures, bills of loading, and commercial functions.
* Develop short and long-term production scenarios and demonstrate safety leadership on site.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Experience with information management systems, SAP, and advanced Excel skills.
* Previous experience with marine and shipping industries is highly desirable.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications will be viewed favourably.
* Ability to juggle conflicting priorities and tasks to multiple stakeholders.
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
* Valid C-Class Drivers Licence.
