About the role
This is a full-time Harvest Manager role at Rugby Farming Group in Gatton, QLD. As Harvest Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and timely harvesting of crops across the farm. This is an integral position that ensures Rugby Farming Group's horticultural operations run smoothly and productively.
What you'll be doing
* Develop and implement harvesting plans to meet targets
* Coordinate and supervise the harvest crew to ensure optimal productivity
* Monitor crop maturity and determine the optimal harvesting schedule
* Oversee the safe and efficient operation of harvesting machinery and equipment
* Ensure adherence to quality control standards and workplace health and safety protocols
* Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for process improvements

* Experience in horticulture and crop harvesting operations preferred
* Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask
* Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage the harvest crew
