About the Role
This practice now has an opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join their team based in a busy Tin Can Bay clinic. As a Physiotherapist you will play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of the community.
Position Description
This opportunity is for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the practice's existing team. The practice opens between 7 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday and this position is based in the Tin Can Bay clinic with flexibility for full time or part time.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment to a variety of patients including aged care, DVA, Medicare and private patients.
* Identify client‐oriented goals and formulate appropriate treatment plans to facilitate the attainment of patients' goals.
* Provide effective advice and education and promote positive and healthy lifestyle behaviours.
* Screen and identify potential risks prior to commencement of exercise.
* Maintain timely and accurate consultation notes, documentation and reports.
* Create a safe and relaxed environment where patients feel comfortable.
Position Requirements
* Fully qualified Physiotherapist.
* Holds current AHPRA license and current insurance.
* No visa restrictions.
* Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to identify and treat a range of conditions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with patients.
* Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up‐to‐date with industry best practices.
