An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Nurse / Midwife to join the Mental Health Division at a hospital setting, working within either the Acute/Mood Team or Psychosis Team. Position Overview Division: Mental Health Unit: Acute/Mood Team or Psychosis Team Location: Adelaide Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Salary Range: $87,416 – $114,497 per annum applicable entitlements Commencement: ASAP Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based, and recovery-oriented mental health nursing care Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support consumers with acute and complex mental health presentations Ensure compliance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and service development Essential Selection Criteria Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with a valid practising certificate Minimum of three years full-time equivalent post-registration clinical experience Demonstrated competency in mental health nursing practice in accordance with relevant professional standards Currently enrolled in an approved mental health qualification or holding a recognised mental health nursing qualification Proven ability to deliver safe, high-quality clinical care Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Highly experienced international applicants with current AHPRA registration are encouraged to apply.
