Job Title: Child And Family Support Worker
As a Child and Family Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering services to vulnerable children and families in remote locations.
This role involves working with young children and their development, supporting families and communities, and providing information, advice, and referral pathways.
* Delivering programs to strengthen family relationships, early intervention, and prevention activities
* Supporting early childhood development, parenting resilience, and mobile services to communities
* Enhancing and supporting increased First Nations / Multicultural community participation and family functioning
This role requires a highly motivated and energetic person with demonstrated experience working with young children and their development, supporting families and communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Queensland driver's license, Blue card, and tertiary qualification or be willing to study towards a Diploma or higher in Children's Services/Counselling/Community Services or similar.
