Our growing accounting firm in the Blue Mountains is seeking a full-time Intermediate Business Services / Tax Accountant to join our practice.

The Role
You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial and tax compliance work for a variety of clients including individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs.
Your duties will include:
* Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
* Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
* Working with a range of entity structures including individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs
* Assisting senior accountants and partners with client work
* Communicating with clients and the ATO when required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a business services / tax accounting role within public practice
* Strong written and verbal English communication skills
* Experience using HandiLedger, Xero Practice Manager & Tax and Microsoft Office
* Experience preparing tax returns, BAS and financial statements
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
