Role Overview
The Casual Education Support role is designed to assist teachers in providing educational services to students, focusing on routine assistance with planning student routines, supporting communication between teachers and parents, and addressing immediate behavioral presentations related to specific students.
This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with teachers and other support staff to coordinate educational programs, supervise students, and provide basic physical care and wellbeing support.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in planning student routines.
* Support communication between teachers and parents.
* Communicate with teachers on routine matters related to students.
* Provide basic physical care and wellbeing support for students.
* Communicate with students to support comprehension of basic tasks and information.
* Address immediate behavioral presentations relating to specific students within a classroom setting aligned to school policy and procedure.
* Provide basic support and supervision for individuals or groups of up to 4 students within a classroom setting.
