What you'll be doing:
Completing a one-year Traineeship as a Dental Assistant by undertaking a Certificate III via distance education, providing chairside assistance, and supporting the dental team.
Selection Criteria:
Willingness to undertake Certificate III in Dental Assisting
Ability to observe and assist with clinical procedures
Motivation and ability to follow instructions and learn new skills
Good manual dexterity
Effective communication skills with adults and children
Ability to work harmoniously in a team
Capacity to maintain confidentiality
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, electronic communication tools, and willingness to learn dental software
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination:
This is a Category ‘A’ position requiring compliance with NSW Health policies, including proof of influenza vaccination for entry into Residential Aged Care Facilities or NSW Health RACFs.
