Job Summary
This role involves delivering high-quality food service to patients and customers.
* Prepare and serve meals and beverages in line with dietary requirements and hospital standards.
* Assist with basic food preparation under the direction of our chefs.
* Deliver and collect menus, food trays, and beverages.
* Maintain cleanliness within the department in accordance with the Food Safety Plan and HACCP standards.
* Support the team with stock management and daily operations.
* Work across a rotating 7-day roster, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
As a catering assistant, you will report to the Catering Manager and work alongside a dedicated team.

* Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional manner.
* Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings.
* Experience in a hospital or commercial kitchen setting (preferable).
* Certificate II or III in Hospitality (desirable).
* Barista or café service experience (preferred).
Previous experience in a hospital catering team is highly desirable.
