Protech is seeking experienced Processing Technicians to join our client's mining operation in the Northern Territory on a rotating FIFO roster. This role is ideal for candidates with gold processing, CIP, CITEC,and general mineral processing experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Immediate start
* 8/6 – 7/7 Days/Nights Roster
* Casual Hourly Rate: $58–$65/hr
* FIFO available from: Brisbane, Perth, Darwin, Alice Springs
* Camp accommodation and meals provided
* Super on ALL Hours
* Weekly Pay (Thurs)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operate and monitor processing plant equipment including:
* Primary crusher, mill, SAG/Ball regrind circuits
* Flotation tanks and gravity circuits
* Thickeners and CIP tanks
* Conduct routine sampling across the plant and submit samples for laboratory testing
* Undertake CITEC/control room duties as required
* Perform plant inspections, fault reporting, and troubleshooting
* Operate mobile machinery (bobcat, skid steer) as required
* Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
* Contribute to a strong safety culture and follow all site procedures
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Valid Manual Driver's License
* Gold processing experience essential (crushing, milling, CIP, flotation)
* Experience using automated control systems (e.g., CITEC)
* Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
* Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
* Strong understanding and adherence to OHS
