Remuneration: $76,515 - $80,000
Responsibilities
* Perform high-quality welding on a variety of work fronts and metal types, including pipe fitting and assembling metal components and repairs.
* Review and read drawings to prepare for fabrication and welding tasks.
* Complete weld procedures as required.
* Oxy cutting and grinding as part of fabrication and repair work.
Qualifications
* Experience: Welder (First Class) or Metal Fabricator with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
* A certificate III in engineering and fabrication trade.
* Ability to use electric arc and/or oxy-acetylene equipment in fabrication and repair of metal products, structures and machines.
* High level welding skills on a variety of fronts and metal types.
* Police clearance and the ability to pass a full medical.
* Proficiency in FCAW, SAW (Sub Arc), TIG, MIG, STICK and Pipe Fitting would be desirable.
