About the role :
As a Site Supervisor with Ashley Cooper Construction, you will be responsible for the successful and safe delivery of high-quality construction projects. You will manage the on-site activities of subcontractors, ensuring their performance aligns with project objectives, and maintain close oversight of all aspects of the project to ensure the standards are met.
Your key responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily site activities and managing subcontractor coordination
Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards
Maintaining adherence to project specifications, technical drawings, and industry standards
Resolving any issues or conflicts with subcontractors to ensure seamless operations
Fostering clear and consistent communication with clients to meet their expectations
Working closely with internal teams to uphold high safety, quality and performance standards
Demonstrating strong knowledge safety systems to maintain safety requirements
Skills & Knowledge
Thorough understanding of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards
Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols
Ability to accurately interpret construction plans, scopes of work, and technical specifications
Strong leadership skills, with a focus on mentoring and motivating site teams
Proven ability to manage subcontractor relationships and resolve disputes effectively
Exceptional organisational, planning, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and familiarity with programming
Experience Requirements
5+ years of experience supervising and managing construction projects, including planning, programming, and managing subcontractors
Highly desirable would be experience with the hospitality and education sector.
First Aid certification
Construction Safety Induction (white) card
Some of our projects may require regional travel, being open to regional work is big plus!
