Job Title: Senior Finance Operations Manager

This is a senior-level position within the Business Services team. As a finance operations expert, you will work closely with clients to enhance their internal finance function.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and financial management skills, with experience in preparing management accounts, producing VAT returns, and setting up accounting systems. A high level of IT proficiency is also required, with the ability to use software packages such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.

A strong grasp of ICT and relevant software systems is essential for this role. You should be able to identify and deal with potential issues, and provide initial advice on complex VAT matters.

You will work closely with a high-performing team to cultivate a positive and productive working environment. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Produce timely and accurate VAT returns for various clients in different industries.
* Develop a comprehensive management reporting pack to empower clients with data needed to make informed strategic decisions.
* Cultivate a high-performing team through effective leadership, training, support, and development.
* Continuously assess and enhance finance systems and processes to support efficient and accurate accounts processing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Strong accounting and financial management skills.
