About the role
Be your own boss at The Psych Collective Clinic.
We are seeking additional mental health clinicians to join our team as licensees/contractors. This means you choose your own days, hours, patient list and set your own fees. We provide admin and billing support, and you can choose patients from our pool of referrals.
We are offering high-end therapy suites from 2-5 days in Wollongong, with a combination of face-to-face and telehealth work. Here is a link to ur website with a photo gallery of our therapy suites: https://www.thepsychcollective.com/clinic
We have a senior clinical psychologist going on maternity leave in July. We are seeking a clinician who can pick up some of these clients to maintain continuity of care, so you won't start with an empty caseload.
What we offer:
* A supportive team environment that includes monthly group supervision with the Clinical Directors (including a psychiatrist).
* Discounts to attend CPD training hosted by Jess O'Garr and Dr Al Griskaitis from The Psych Collective.
* Beautifully appointed therapy rooms just minutes from Wollongong Train Station.
* Admin support for bookings and billing.
* The opportunity to set your own hours, decide on your own caseload and choose the patients you want to work with.
* Availability for an immediate start: 2 days per week in clinic, building towards 4 days in clinic by July if desirable.
What we're looking for
* An experienced Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number.
* Demonstrated expertise in providing evidence-based psychological interventions for a variety of client presentations.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own caseload.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to work in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
* Ideally, someone trained in EMDR and SIRA-accredited, as we have a high volume of clients with occupational PTSD under workers' compensation.
What we offer
At The Psych Collective Clinic, we are dedicated to creating a positive and nurturing work environment where our clinicians can thrive. We offer a competitive fee-split arrangement or daily room rental fee, flexible work arrangements, opportunities for professional development, and a strong focus on skills before pills. Join our team and take the next step in your rewarding career in psychology.
