Superior Home Health Services are seeking qualified, reliable and passionate Home and Community Personal Care Workers to join our team in the Sunshine Coast Region - Sippy Downs QLD. We are offering permanent part-time for suitable candidates.
Responsibilities will include:
* Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client;
* Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties;
* Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support;
* Providing support with social and recreational activities;
* Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting clients with medications;
* Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client;
* Responding to emergency situations; and
* Working weekend and overnight shifts as rostered
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum Certificate III in Individual Care/Aged Care or equivalent
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
* Current National Police Check
* Current First Aid & CPR certificates
* Current unrestricted driver's licence
* Medication Assistance (desirable)
* A reliable, well-maintained vehicle
* Comprehensive car insurance
* NDIS Worker Screening including Blue Card (or equivalent)
* Community experience, 1 year +

Pay: $34.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
