Plumbing Inspector – Permanent / Full Time – Location: Proserpine – $85,807 to $96,869 per annum
The Whitsunday Regional Council is situated at the heart of the Great Barrier Reef.
The region encompasses the 74 tropical Whitsunday Islands, the coastal towns of Cannonvale, Airlie Beach, Jubilee Pocket, Shute Harbour and Bowen along with the rural towns of Proserpine and Collinsville.

Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within our Regional Strategy and Planning Directorate for a Plumbing Inspector.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Plumbing Code of Australia, whilst assisting to achieve the operational and corporate goals of Council.
Essential qualifications
C Class Drivers Licence.
Queensland Building & Construction Commission Licensed Plumber and Drainer.
Current General Construction Induction card (White Card).
Desirable
Onside Waste Water Systems designer accreditation.
Endorsements in backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valves and solar heat pump installations.
Onsite Sewage Treatment Plant maintenance endorsement.
Eligibility as a member of the Institute of Plumbing Inspectors Queensland.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
