The Role
We're seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as Head of Brand, Media & Communications. This pivotal role will drive effective brand, media, and communications strategies to elevate the positive profile of our competitions, products, and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop strategic marketing and brand plans for our organisation.
* Elevate and protect our brand, increasing community understanding of our impact.
* Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within external and internal environments.
* Oversee media liaison activities, including monitoring, issues management, and maximising media presence at events.
* Craft innovative PR strategies and earned media opportunities.
* Promote consistent, high-quality corporate communications across all channels.
* Spearhead broadcast and streaming agreements and strategies.
* Foster a high-performing, engaged team through effective leadership.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Media, or related field.
* Demonstrated professional development and commitment to ongoing learning.
* Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven track record in enhancing and protecting brand reputation.
* Experience in managing and maximising media engagement.
* Expertise in developing and executing PR and communications strategies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
