Job Summary
* We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation and cooling units for commercial and residential customers.
* Key responsibilities include traveling to job sites, working with dispatch to ensure schedules are maintained and delays communicated to customers. You must be available to work nights or weekends on a rotating basis to service emergency needs of our customers.
* Maintaining good working order of company vehicles is essential, including refueling as necessary, getting oil changes, and reporting any mechanical issues. Vehicles should be washed regularly.
* You will maintain proper stock, parts, tools and safety equipment in the vehicle. Understanding company pricing and generating appropriate customer invoices at job sites is also required.
* Documenting installed equipment upon arrival, including make, model, serial number, type of fuel, test measurements and pictures is necessary.
* Diagnosing diverse service issues, obtaining replacement parts, calibrating systems to manufacturer's recommendations, and explaining issues and solutions to customers is key.
* Participating in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies is essential.
* Identifying and reporting potential opportunities for additional business is also required.
Requirements
* Five to seven years' experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues.
* Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals.
* Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
* Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure jobs are done correctly first time.
* Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.
* Valid social security card, driver's license and clean driving record.
* Must be able to pass drug screening as required by Company.
