Trade Assistants/Painters – Full-Time positions in both Cairns Qld and Darwin NT available.
We are currently have vacancies for Trades Assistants/Painters to join Sea Swift. The role would suit somebody who is energetic, enjoys the social aspect of working with a team and takes pride in their finish. Our work is mainly repaints on mobile equipment and sea containers. The candidates we are looking for are experienced in repaints with attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Sanding and Cleaning: Preparing surfaces by sanding, scraping, and cleaning to remove old paint, dust, and debris.
- Apply paints, sealers, and solvents to our fleet of mobile plant and sea containers
- Priming: Applying primer to seal surfaces and ensure proper paint adhesion.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a painter
- A trade qualification painting is desirable but not essential
- A strong commitment to and understanding of OSH & E procedures and standards
- Have a desire to put their skills to use in a team environment
- Ability to follow scope of works within given time frames
- Strong communication skills
