The Customer Service Consultant is accountable for maintaining sales and service to a level where profits and customer satisfaction are maximised and for contributing to the successful operation of the Customer Division. In this role, you will deliver professional and quality service and assist customers with their personal finance solutions in accordance with standards of performance determined by Bank Australia. What you will be doing Contribute to Branch and Group targets to support Customer Division goals Provide professional, efficient, and friendly service per service standards Build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with customers Promote financial products and services to achieve quality outcomes and KPIs Refer insurance enquiries to Allianz or Honey; assist with daily banking needs Refer lending enquiries to specialist teams Manage and reconcile cash float daily, report discrepancies immediately Open new accounts following procedures and legal requirements Process transactions and update customer/account details Participate in training and stay updated on emergency procedures Maintain high standards of personal and branch presentation Share feedback to improve products and services Support and train team members as required Represent Bank Australia positively in line with its values Perform other duties within role scope as directed. What you will bring Proven ability to cross-sell financial products Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills Empathy towards customers’ financial situations Basic problem-solving ability Professional presentation and conduct Team player with quick rapport-building skills Customer service and cash handling experience Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure Self-motivated and proactive attitude Confident PC and technology skills Experience in financial services (preferred) Minimum Year 12 education or equivalent Commitment to Bank Australia’s purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
