Mary Street Bakery is an established and well respected bakery which supplies handmade artisan pastry and bread products to our own cafés as well as a large wholesale customer base.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do, isn't afraid of hard work, has a consistently high standard of product, self motivated and team oriented.
The successful applicant will need to be able to perform the following duties;
* Make croissant, puff and sweet pastry doughs
* Laminating rolling and cutting doughs to create our extensive range of sweet and savoury products - Extensive experience with lamination is preferred.
* Create and decorating our range of donuts, pastries, cakes and slices
* Maintain our par levels of stock and ensuring proper storage and labelling of all our food supplies
* Ensure overall cleanliness and food safety requirements are maintained at all times
You will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef and the entire pastry team so effective communication is important.
The role is working day shifts across Monday to Friday for a total of 38hrs per week. Some Saturdays will be required to cover annual leave and will be paid accordingly.
At least 2 years post apprenticeship experience or similar is required. Salary negotiable depending upon experience.
