About the role As a Food & Beverage Attendant (referred to internally as a Guest Service Attendant) you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service across a variety of venues. This hands-on, fast-paced role offering variety and the chance to grow your skills in a professional hospitality setting. You will be responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service, ensuring every guest experience exceeds expectations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet and seat guests in a welcoming and professional manner Provide efficient food and beverage service, adhering to safe handling practices Clearing tables, wiping down table settings and equipment, polishing cutlery, crockery and glassware and resetting tables Assist with food and beverage set up, preparation and pack down for events This role may include opportunities to undertake supervisory shifts subject to operational requirements and demonstrated skills and experience. We are looking for multiple casual Food & Beverage Attendants (referred to internally as Guest Service Attendants) to join our team! The goal for this role will be to become a professional and skilled team member in all areas of food and beverage service, with the ability to deliver exceptional service to all guests in a variety of settings. This role may include opportunities to undertake supervisory shifts subject to operational requirements and demonstrated skills and experience. We are seeking candidates who possess the following experience/qualifications: A Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Previous experience in food and beverage service within a banquet or restaurant environment would be highly regarded Takes pride in presentation, being well presented and professional is priority Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including weekends, early morning and night shifts Ability to undergo a Fitness Capacity Assessment / Medical Why choose Logan City Council?
