Overview
Ability Action Australia is expanding its Occupational Therapy team and seeks experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapists to join a multidisciplinary team and make a difference. You will bring expertise, maturity and strong time management and organisational skills. Our purpose is to help participants get more out of life today. Responsibilities
* Manage an allocated caseload (based on negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
* Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
* Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
* A proactive attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
