About the Role
Join a trusted global brand within the Technical Service and Refurbishment team. This hands‐on role focuses on diagnosing, repairing and servicing a range of electronic equipment in a supportive and collaborative technical environment.
This is a stable Monday–Friday Day shift position with no weekend work, offering long‐term career opportunities within a well‐established organisation operating in Australia for nearly 50 years.
Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor and Technical Services Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and servicing equipment while delivering high‐quality technical support.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair electronic equipment including printers, sewing machines and similar devices
* Troubleshoot technical issues and identify practical solutions
* Perform servicing, refurbishment and preventative maintenance
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation
* Work collaboratively with technicians and technical support teams
* Ensure equipment is repaired and returned to operational standards
* Support continuous improvement within the technical service process
Skills & Experience
* Hands‐on technical mindset with strong problem‐solving ability
* Interest in electronics, mechanical systems or technical equipment
* Enjoys working with tools and fixing or rebuilding equipment
* Curious and analytical approach to diagnosing faults
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technical challenges
* Technical qualification in electronics, communications or similar (or currently studying) is highly desirable
* Someone known as the "go‐to" person for fixing things among friends or family
