About the Role
About the Role
This is a senior delivery role for an experienced Project Manager based in Darwin who thrives in complex, technically driven environments. You will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of renewable energy and microgrid projects, leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. This is a hands‐on leadership position where you will be accountable for outcomes, not just oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of renewable energy, microgrid, and hybrid power projects
- Manage project scope, program, cost, risk, and performance reporting
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
- Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, variations, and commercial performance
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve technical and delivery challenges
- Support tendering, planning, and project development activities as required
- Ensure strict adherence to HSEQ systems, standards, and procedures
- Provide clear, accurate reporting to senior leadership on project performance
You will bring
- 5+ years experience as a Project manager managing subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and project risk
- Proven experience in renewable energy, microgrids, solar, BESS, or electrical infrastructure projects
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Business or related discipline, with proven experience delivering complex projects or programs
- Demonstrated project leadership across technical delivery, commercial management, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong understanding of LV/HV systems and remote power generation
- Strong commercial acumen including variations, cost control, and reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to lead delivery in fast-paced, technically complex environments
