Our client is seeking an experienced WHS Training Advisor to join their Learning & Development team, supporting the rollout of a new Safety Management System (SMS). In this role, you will play a key part in designing, aligning, and implementing training programs that ensure compliance, build capability, and support safe work practices across a large and geographically diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a comprehensive WHS training plan, covering mandatory and optional programs aligned to organisational priorities
* Review and align existing training materials with the updated Safety Management System (SMS) and competency standards
* Design and deliver practical, user-friendly learning solutions tailored to a trade-based workforce
* Establish and maintain centralised training administration and record-keeping processes
* Support the implementation of WHS training initiatives, including inductions and verification of competency programs
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure consistent and effective training delivery
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Proven experience in Learning and Development, particularly in designing and implementing training programs
* Strong ability to translate complex information into clear, practical learning outcomes
* Experience working within or supporting WHS frameworks and compliance requirements
* Experience in instructional design principles and ability to tailor content for operational or trade-based environments
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams
* Strong organisational skills and experience coordinating training processes in large, complex organisations. Government experience ideal.
* A proactive and curious approach, with the ability to navigate and gather information across multiple business areas
