Insights and Planning Manager
Diageo Australia is looking for an Insights and Planning Manager to join its Marketing Transformation team and lead the consumer insights and planning for iconic brands including Bundy Rum, Smirnoff, and Don Julio. The role will partner with brand and innovation teams to uncover, build, and develop key insights that drive strategic brand planning, innovation opportunities, business plans, and measurement of success.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead partnerships with Brand teams to build the integral insights required to develop winning brand strategies and execution plans.
- Collaborate with the Innovation team to create a robust innovation pipeline linked to consumer insights.
- Champion foresights and macro trends, using them to identify and embed future growth opportunities.
- Build the insights capability across the broader marketing team.
- Manage relationships with key data and insights agencies to ensure effective working relationships, including local Brand Guidance System engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience in insight development and consumer research, ideally from an in‑house or agency background.
- Proven ability to generate insights and drive business acceptance to fuel growth.
- Leadership experience of internal and external stakeholders to drive accountability and effectiveness.
- A natural curiosity and skill in connecting dots across data sources, simplifying complexity.
