The Team:
As a Domestic Services Officer (Cleaner) you will join a large multi-disciplinary team where no two days will be the same. You will use industrial cleaning tools, universal precautions, and contribute to the effective management of infection using infection prevention and control measures to departmental procedure and policy.
You will need:
* Using industrial cleaning tools and detergents to contribute to the cleanliness of the North West Regional Hospital in Burnie
* Linen delivery, linen and waste collection
* Contributing to the prevention of infection spreading using departmental policies and procedure
Details of appointment:
* Multiple Permanent part-time, shift worker position, working up to 32 hours per fortnight commencing from 13 October 2025.
* Fixed Term, part-time, shift worker position, working up to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing from the 13 October 2025 until 13 June 2026.
* Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary: $57,130 to $62,486 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
