Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
Finance Duties
Maintain accurate financial records and process property transactions in Xero.
Complete monthly accruals, prepayment journals, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG instalments, and assist with audits.
Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable, including intercompany transactions.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
Administration Duties
Oversee filing systems, archives, and lease documentation.
Coordinate with external valuers and maintain property information registers.
Manage asset management software and liaise with managing agents.
Provide general office support and share reception duties.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
A degree or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
