The Mayor's Assistant position requires exceptional administrative support to the Mayor, Councillors, and General Manager.

Key Requirements
* A Certificate IV in Office Administration or equivalent is highly valued.
* Typing speed of 60 words per minute is expected.
* Executive secretarial experience is crucial for this role.
* Excellent customer service skills are necessary for effective communication.
* Proficiency in computer packages will be advantageous.
* Confidentiality and political awareness are key requirements.
* Database updates and maintenance experience is essential.
* General clerical skills will be utilized in this role.
* Time management and communication skills are vital for success.
* A valid NSW Class C Driver's Licence is required.
Benefits and Terms
Salary: $1,349.60 - $1,417.96 per week + 12% superannuation.
Position Status: Maximum Term – 12 Months.
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week with RDO every third week.
