What you will do
You'll be trained and empowered to take ownership of both the clinical and front-desk experience. This is a relational role, not a transactional one. Your ability to make patients feel safe, understood, and supported is just as important as your ability to sterilise instruments or manage appointments.
1) On the reception side, you will provide white-glove service by working with each patient to ensure they receive timely, comprehensive responses to enquiries and to improve upon any areas potential dissatisfaction. You will help manage patient bookings, handle payments, process referrals, and ensure the day runs smoothly for the entire team. A great front-of-house team member operates like a strategist, anticipating how each appointment fits into the day's flow and proactively aligning bookings with the clinic's operations.
2) On the clinical side, you will integrate into our efficient clinical systems and become a key part of their success. You will manage sterilisation and infection control protocols, and ensure treatment rooms are consistently prepared and equipped according to each patient's needs and treatment plan. You will be instrumental in helping keep patients positive and supported during their treatment. The dentist will rely on your chairside organisation, awareness, and calm presence to help them deliver their best work.

Details
* Job Type: We're currently intaking all sorts of roles. We're looking for full-time / part-time members, and offer casual roles to get you familiar with the role before continuing long-term.
* Working hours: We are currently open all weekdays (excluding Wednesday) between 8:30a to 5:30p, as well as Saturdays between 8:30a to 4:00p.
* Pay & benefits: We offer above award wages and will work with you to get your ideal rate and schedule. You pick your days.
* Required certification? A Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred, though not necessary. Experience in the field goes a long way.
