As our company continues to grow and evolve, we're looking for talented individuals to contribute to our ongoing success.RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance Team.This role combines financial and management accounting, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and project accounting.You will ensure accurate financial records, support compliance and audits, and provide insights to assist management decision making.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing business and develop your career in a supportive, energetic environment.Key TasksSupporting the month-end and year-end accounting processes, including journals, reconciliations, and statutory reportingMaintaining the general ledger and ensuring accurate financial recordsPreparing financial statements and management reports as requiredEnsure compliance with government requirements for the various applicable taxes and levies, such as BAS, PAYG, FBT, Diesel Fuel, Payroll Tax and ABS ReturnsMaintain Fixed Asset Register of subsidiary companiesMonthly reconciliation of balance sheet and profit/lossAssisting with budgeting, forecasting, and capital project reporting, providing insights on variances and cost driversSupporting audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policiesSupport Senior team members when necessarySupport and back-fill Payroll when necessaryQualifications and ExperienceMandatoryDegree Qualified AccountMin.
