About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) with a strong background in SaaS sales and proven success engaging clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in outbound prospecting, understands complex sales cycles, and can confidently build relationships with decision-makers across mid-market and enterprise organizations.
You will play a critical role in generating qualified pipeline opportunities for the sales team through strategic outreach, lead qualification, and consultative conversations.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, prospect, and engage potential customers across the AUS market through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels
* Generate and qualify high-quality sales opportunities for Account Executives
* Conduct discovery conversations to understand client pain points, business needs, and buying drivers
* Build and manage a healthy outbound pipeline while maintaining accurate CRM records
* Develop targeted outreach strategies and personalized messaging to improve conversion rates
* Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align campaigns and lead generation efforts
* Maintain strong knowledge of the company's SaaS solutions, industry trends, and competitive landscape
* Consistently achieve or exceed monthly KPIs and pipeline generation targets
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in a Business Development Representative, SDR, or outbound sales role within a SaaS environment
* Strong track record of meeting or exceeding outbound prospecting and pipeline generation targets
* Experience engaging with decision-makers across SMB, mid-market, or enterprise accounts
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong consultative selling and objection-handling abilities
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
* Experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Apollo, or similar tools
* Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working remotely with global teams
* Familiarity with modern outbound sales methodologies and multi-channel prospecting strategies
