In the last 7 years, Baker Bleu has expanded rapidly with plans for further growth
Now with 5 locations across 2 states, Baker Bleu is proud tobring back the joys of real bread using the ancient techniques of long fermentation sourdough.
About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Bakers to join our growing team We offer a positive working environment with a great team and a focus on training.
We bake some of the best bread in the country - If you're serious about your career as a baker and want to learn how to craft a premium product, this could be the role for you.
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team on our early morning 12(am) shift, mixing, shaping and baking - This is an opportunity to learn new skills in a great environment using the best equipment and earn a great wage.
Some key responsibilities would include:
Working with the Bakery team to achieve production and quality goals
Production and preparation of dough and loaves for the following day baking
Assisting with set up, pack down and cleaning
Maintaining the safe workplace and responsible operation of equipment
Operating the oven and automatic loading table
Mixing doughs as per Baker Bleu procedure
About you
We are looking for people who are prepared to come on our growth journey with us
You will have respect for ingredients and machinery, take pride in learning and perfecting the way Baker Bleu dough is to be shaped, and you will be consistent, efficient, and reliable
To be considered, you will need to possess:
Bakers
Minimum 1 year baking experience (essential)
Baker's Assistant
6 months experience in a production baking environment is highly desirable, however we are prepared to train someone with the right attitude
