Our reporting tools help businesses track everything from cost and emissions across energy assets, to the highest ROI energy upgrade across a business.
Termina is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to operationalise our finance function and build high quality processes as we scale. You'll work closely with Operations and Software Engineering to operate and improve Termina's AR/AP and core revenue flows, and to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and usable for founder and board discussions. Working closely with our founders, you'll drive transformative growth and unlock new opportunities for the business as we scale.
What You'll Own
* AR/AP & Finance Operations Excellence
* Own end-to-end AR/AP, revenue allocation, and payout workflows. Drive operational excellence to increase speed, accuracy, and visibility while reducing manual effort and errors.
* Systems & Process Improvement
* Design, document, and continuously improve finance processes. Strengthen existing spreadsheet-based workflows and partner with engineering and data to systemise them over time.
* Financial Management & Reporting
* Own core accounting outputs including month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, and variance analysis. Ensure numbers are trusted and explainable.
* Budgeting & Forecasting
* Build and maintain budgets and forecasts. Partner with founders and ops to track performance, identify risks, and surface insights.
* Cash Flow & Working Capital:
Own cash visibility across receivables and payables. Actively manage collections, payment timing, and short-term liquidity.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure tax and regulatory compliance. Coordinate audits. Design and implement practical controls that scale with the business.
- Cost Control & Expense Management
- Monitor and analyse costs. Approve transactions where required. Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency.
Who You Are

* Systems Thinker: You can get into the weeds to fix issues while seeing how the system can be improved as a whole.
* Analytical approach:
You know your way around a spreadsheet and are confident diving into the data to better understand an opportunity.
You might be someone with experience across these functions, or someone earlier in your career with the confidence to take a career-defining step into a role with high autonomy and high speed of execution.

Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in finance or related role.
* Good understanding of the Energy, SaaS, or Technology industry (all are not required).
* Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
* Startup/high growth experience is a plus.
* Experience working in and navigating regulatory challenges is a plus.
* Experience with SQL is a plus.
