This role is a direct result of our KU Children's Services Teacher's Enterprise Agreement 2025.
The Hours and Service:
KU Figtree is a community-based preschool serving 30 children aged 3 to school age. Established in 1971, we have strong ties with families and the local community, creating a welcoming environment. Our program includes preschool picnics, BBQs, social events, and visits from storytellers and performers. We also connect with local schools and aged-care members. Open Monday to Friday, 8:00am–3:30pm.
This opportunity will see you join the team 7.6hrs per fortnight and the ability to join our casual pool for opportunites across KU.
Of course, you will need:
* Australian working rights
* A current NSW Working with Children Check
* An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
* Completed training in Child Protection legislation
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
* NESA Teacher Accreditation
* Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
* Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
