About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Horticulture Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 200-acre horticulture farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production, business development, and staff supervision.
Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operations of the farm, including crop planning, planting, and harvesting.
* Oversee business development, including marketing, sales, and customer relationships.
* Supervise and train staff in horticulture practices, quality control, and safety protocols.
* Maintain accurate records of farm production, finances, and employee performance.
* Implement and maintain efficient systems for crop management, water usage, and waste reduction.
* Collaborate with external partners, such as suppliers and buyers, to ensure smooth operation of the farm.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in horticulture farming or a related field.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with HACCP quality programs and KPI/SOP management systems.
