Job Summary
The Midwifery Unit Manager is a pivotal role within the ward or unit, responsible for coordinating patient care and services. This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to cultivate collaborative relationships and effective teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate patient services and unit management within the ward or unit.
* Lead the ward or unit as a clinical leader and manager with accountability for culture, quality and safety, patient flow, financial management, change management and the experience of patients.
* Cultivate collaborative relationships and effective teamwork to advance nursing and care provision.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
