The service is made up of nursing, medical, and clerical personnel. Clerical duties include reception, outreach visit scheduling, accounting support, procurement and managing stock levels, equipment and vehicle logging and maintenance, and more. See the attached position description for details of duties. Excellent communication skills, organisational skills, and CERNER and iPM competence are essential. Flexibility to assist in other areas of the Home Acute and Community Program are also important. The Role Hospital in the Home (HITH) is seeking expressions of interest from applicants with significant health related clerical experience. The position covers 6days per fortnight. The HITH clerk works an 8 hours shift, commencing at 7:30am or Midday depending on service needs. This role is based largely at The Alfred campus, but it services both the Alfred and Sandringham sites. Occasionally the role will provide ward clerk coverage from the Sandringham HITH site.
