Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Coordinator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage project profitability through effective financial planning and budgeting
* Develop and implement strategies to raise company profile and generate new leads in the local property market
* Assist with bid writing and negotiation of contracts
* Collaborate with cost management teams in South Australia to provide support and integrate resources as needed
* Work independently to take ownership of deliverables and drive results
* Conduct feasibility studies and prepare procurement reports
* Estimate and plan costs, including producing and presenting the final cost plan
* Tender for projects, managing the prequalification stage, producing tender lists, preparing preliminaries, conducting pre-tender estimates, analyzing tenders, producing tender reports, and compiling contractual documents
* Address post-contract cost variances and change control processes, referring major changes to the line manager where applicable
* Monitor progress claim assessments on site and draw up plans
* Take responsibility for cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate cost checking and valuation occurs
* Produce monthly post-contract cost reports for the line manager to present to clients
* Promote value engineering initiatives
Qualifications and Experience:
* Recognized degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar field
* Preferably RICS and AIQS accredited
* Sound experience in cost planning for Healthcare, Education, and Commercial projects
* Defence experience and baseline security clearance is an advantage
