Heavy Diesel Fitter
With a strong passion for mechanical work, we are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team at Mt Ida. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and 10% bonus.
As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment including PC2000 & PC1250-8 Diggers, auxiliary gear, and more. You will also be required to keep the fleet running smoothly by performing regular maintenance tasks, fixing engines and transmissions, and ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
This role requires a minimum of 2 years' experience on mobile plant post-trade and a relevant Trade Certificate or Mechanical Engineering qualification. A Franna, IT, or forklift ticket is also a plus. We offer a supportive and enjoyable work environment with modern amenities and a short commute to site.
