Job Summary
In this pivotal role, you will have a significant impact on the organization by independently performing complex diagnostics and repairs.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of and experience with engine products, as well as a strong background in workshop or field service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain productive customer relations and ensure prompt attention to their needs to minimize downtime.
2. Provide guidance on preventative maintenance and/or repairs to more experienced technicians and/or customer technicians; may direct work tasks and review repair plans, parts, and tool lists.
3. Elevate unresolved issues to product specialists/engineering teams for further assistance.
4. Complete necessary documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via business system input screens.
5. Identify opportunities for additional sales and services with customers.
6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools and equipment.
7. Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any incidents to management.
Requirements
This role demands an advanced level of technical expertise and extensive experience in engine products. A CompTIA A+ certification is desirable but not mandatory.
