Work for a successful Construction/Transport company. They are growing and we are looking for an experienced General Manager to manage operational duties, process improvements and contribute to the success of this leading business.
You will be overseeing the day-to-day operations and executing strategy to optimise performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Leadership, development and training of staff
- Accountability for the operational performance and service delivery
- Identifying continuous improvement to drive efficiency and growth
- Review and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, WHS and Quality Standards and make changes where necessary.
- Ensure the business operates safely and compliantly
- Lead operational and financial performance to grow profitable revenue
- Oversee the full P&L;
- Identify work synergies and realise specific cost saving initiatives
About You:
- Robust business acumen and strategic thinking skills
- Experience having full P&L; accountability
- Tertiary Qualifications would be highly regarded
- Senior management experience ideally in blue collar industry but not essential
- A passion for your people and service delivery excellence
- A track record of driving growth and achieving financial targets
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement, WHS principles
