As a member of the Catering team at Holy Spirit Dubbo, you will be preparing high quality food and providing a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.
Responsibilities
* Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required
* Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
* Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Requirements
* A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential
* Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
* Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
* Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
* NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
