Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital
We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurses or dual Registered Nurse/Midwives with recent experience in Special Care Nursery or Neonatal Intensive Care to join our core staff.
We are offering a permanent part time role at 36 hours per week.
Our NICU, Ward 34, is a 26 bed, high dependency nursery provides specialist care for babies from 30 weeks gestation and our reputation is one of the highest in the state for neonatal care. We have a team of experienced neonatologists and nurses who are trained to handle complex medical conditions in newborns. Our nursery is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment to monitor and support the health of premature babies.
The Position:
* Provide high-quality, compassionate, and family-centred care to neonatal patients, ensuring that care aligns with the philosophy, mission, and values of St John of God Healthcare.
* Responsible for delivering evidence-based, safe, and effective care to neonates, ensuring all actions are within your professional scope and adhere to established clinical standards.
* Uphold the policies and procedures of St John of God Healthcare, ensuring exceptional patient care and fostering a safe, collaborative, and dynamic workplace.
You will hold current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife and ideally will have a Graduate Certificate in Neonatal Nursing with experience in a Special Care Nursey.
To succeed you will have excellent planning and organisation skills and can work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

* Salary $79,755 to $102,048 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation
