Remuneration
Annual salary commencing at $96,888, plus up to 14% superannuation. Additional benefits include health & wellness programs, salary sacrifice and packaging arrangements, and a fortnightly RDO.

Role Overview
The Senior Supervisor Roads Maintenance works in close collaboration with the Coordinator Roads Maintenance, directly managing all field operations, providing coordination, supervision and mentorship to supervisors, leading hands and crew members to ensure safe and efficient work performance. The role leads the delivery of essential maintenance for roads, bridges and related infrastructure while embedding continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise and mentor field teams, ensuring safe and efficient work performance.
* Plan and oversee daily road maintenance activities, ensuring timely project delivery.
* Coordinate human and physical resources to execute maintenance activities.
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Implement technology improvements to support a mobile workforce.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives, participating in at least one project per annum.
* Maintain cost control measures and financial management to deliver value for money.
* Create and implement policies and procedures that align with council standards.
* Promote a safe workplace culture, identifying hazards and ensuring compliance with WHS legislation.
* Provide staff development and training within the team.
* Respond professionally to councilor requests and reputation risks related to maintenance works.
Qualifications & Experience
* Demonstrated leadership and management of teams.
* Knowledge of contemporary civil construction practices and legislation.
* Knowledge of plant and equipment capabilities and requirements.
* Knowledge of WHS legislation.
* Experience using maintenance management systems.
* Ability to calculate quantities and estimate costs.
* Ability to implement and foster a customer service culture.
* Queensland 'C' Class driver's licence or above that is current and maintained.
* Construction Industry White/Blue card.
* Certificate III in Civil Construction/Civil Engineering or above.
* Certificate IV in Training and Education or greater.
* Knowledge of project management principles.
* Experience with traffic management implementation.
